Disappearing/reappearing model

I don't see it, but I suppose it is because of bad compile parameters of the map. Was the shader in shaderlist.txt? Was surfaceparm trans used in it?

Compiled with test option in net radiant with good lights. That's all, no additional shaders. As I said the problem is not disappearing completely (it should do so), but the blinking thing (he disappeared and suddenly appeared again).

Another thing is that the latest dp crashes when capturing video and demo ends.

It does not crash for me, and I regularily record demos. Need more information, like a stack trace, and what "latest DP" you used. Are the AVIs written fine (can you seek in them)?

Also, if you want your videos watched, please post them in a way that does not crash browsers. Can't you simply make an AVI download, or at least post it on a well tested site like youtube (ideally offer both)? I now can't watch it again, it always crashes the flash plugin for me.

I posted into this site because it doesn't require registration (not like youtube). I'll rather make the avi to download. I wonder, why every and each site, where I upload smth, crashes your browser in one or another way. It's not MY fault.

Tested two DP builds (vc and mingw builds), both crashes (might be windows related). I could check in Linux too, but ext2 went down because of constant power outages and I need to recover data first somehow (currently in kernel panic state because of corrupted fstab).

I don't get avi's if I don't disconnect before demo ends. I'll post stack trace later if it's ok with you. Will check dp svn again, maybe I got unsuccessful build.

Can't reproduce crash right now. If I'll manage, I post the dump.

The browser crashing isn't MY fault either, but Adobe's. The Flash plugin for Linux is known as being unstable.

It's clearly a badly compiled map, and sv_cullentities_trace failing for that reason.

As I said I used test option from netradiant menu. I have no idea what cullentities are.
