Nexuiz does not exit properly.

When I close out of Nexuiz, it does not actually exit. It seems like it does, right up to when it normally closes the window (or returns from fullscreen) - which it plain and simply does not do. I've tried basically everything I can think of, short of compiling from source. There is no terminal output when it freezes, and the game otherwise works perfectly fine. It's also worked fine on this same computer before, and it seems to have stopped working after I upgraded to Ubuntu Intrepid.

Nexuiz 2.4.2, Ubuntu Intrepid repo version. ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro, fglrx 2.1.8087 release.

Known fglrx problem, fixed in the next release. Bear with it for now, or compile from source (svn).

And try the general workarounds for Intrepid.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Any advice for windows users, having a similar problem with catalyst 8.9 drivers or newer? On XP, you just get an error message, while on Vista 32 Nexuiz freezes at quitting.
