I just compiled darkplaces-cvs, and I still have the mouse lag problem, in both nexuiz-sdl and nexuiz-glx.

I have also noticed that mouse sensitivity seems to be completely different in all versions, even if FOV, resolution, sensitivity, and everything else is all set the same.

You appear to be the only ones affected.

Can you try building a glx binary instead of the SDL one that is supplied?

How much lag are we talking about, Dave?
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Just to let you guys know i tried some other games to make sure it wasnt my system...
I installed Cube
http://www.cubeengine.com
and its working fine no lag at all in the controls....

not sure why nexuiz is affected and nothing else...

btw i did try the glx binary with version 1.2.1 and i get the exact same thing.

We need more information about your system. Are we talking about IN GAME lag? The MENU LAG problem is known and very hard to fix (because it's a thing between engine and menu game code and the engine is just what Nexuiz runs on). In-game lag however would really be a serious problem, however nobody else reported that so please be more specific about your system. Did you try toggling m_filter?

Did you two try the final version? Was it any better? Worse? Or anything?
