[Ubuntu 8.10] Nexuiz scrambles my graphics

I run Nexuiz SDL. Everything runs fine until i want to close the game. I end up with scrambled screen - some parts are black and some are scrambled pixels from my desktop. The only way out is Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. Any solution for this? Thanks in advance.

My guess is that you are using an Ati card? There is a known bug in their drivers.. The current development version has an workaround for that.. If you want to test it you can find several posts in the forum on how to get a working version out of the Nexuiz svn repository. But beware its still work in progress and hopefully there will be a new release 'soon'
