Stuttering sound

Hi!
When i start Nexuiz, sound stutters and crackles. I read in FAQ that i need to use SDL binaries. I have downloaded binary version from www.liflg.org and I have installed it. But there is only SDL binaries. In older version what I¨have are SDL and GLX binaries and that SDL work perfectly without any stuttering.

So what I need to do to solve this problem?

Try starting Nexuiz with "-sndspeed 48000" and "-sndstereo" (if you have only 2 speakers connected to a 5.1/7.1 soundcard).

This issue will be fixed in 2.0, which is due to be released very soon (those settings are default now and can be changed via the ingame menu).

Do you have a onboard sound card by chance? In that case it might help to use the command line option -sndspeed 48000 (or you can use the nexuiz-linux.sh start script which does try to detect if this option is needed). And other option you might want to try if this does not help is -sndstereo.

Finaly Nexuiz 2.0 will soon be released which will no longer have those problems.
