I got the same problem on my dual scren windowsXP running nexuiz wondowed. Disabling HW gamma fixed it, however this was not a problem with the forum release of 2.0, but it appeared in the final release

The forum beta had a bug that caused it to not set gamma on startup sometimes, which I fixed, but in a way that I was convinced would not cause the infamous 'flicker', how is this still possible?

OS and driver info might be helpful, too.

Does changing vid_refresh on the console help?
e.g.: vid_refresh 75; vid_restart

ups, sry :D
he's running nex on winxp with the latest official nvidia forceware (84.21)
had the same idea with vid_refresh but it sadly had no effect

I have the same weird flickering, but I'd say its for different reasons. It only does the crazy slow flicker when I'm running Dualview. XP, GB ram, 6800GT. Refresh rates are 65 on left and 75 on right screen.

So I turn off dualview and go to single dislpay to play. One other note, I'm also running 84.21.

Edit: Just saw the posts about HWG. Turning off the hardware gamma fixed it.

Daeduls ... there is a way to make your own montitor drivers (iitc Ntweak allows it do do (don't recall the name for sure though)) This file will generate a montitor driver file that only allows your screen to work at it's maximum frequencys... Could be interesting, with that "fix" you will never have to worry about refreshrate again.... ever ...

Could not yet test it but i suppose the flickering was fixed with a engine change 4 hours ago. Should be included in the next bug fix release 2.0.1 (or something similar)

I'm doubtful that fixes it, I need someone to test it and report back.
