Sever.cfg file not being read

Hi all, i'm trying to config a dedicated server but the server.cfg file i edited and placed in the data folder doesn't get used. I can setup a server start the game and see the server but the name i chose and max players and other settings i edited in the server.cfg file are incorrect.

It just lloks like a default nexuix server and its just says "Nexuix Server" and 0/8 with ping of 9999 but i have no trouble connecting to it and other players can join it.

But why won't the .bat file read the server.cfg file?

running windows Vista btw.

Can you please 'show' us the server.cfg you use? copy it to here: http://paste.debian.net/ and post the llink.. Maybe you just made a mistake in the file. I tested the stuff in Nexuiz/Docs/server and it worked fine..
I guess you used the server-windows.bat file from Nexuiz/Docs/server ?

Tried to make the important part easier to see

Everything in that file are just comments, to make sure if someone puts that file in the data dir nothing is changed unless he really wants to..
