I can't believe it! I really forgot for a while about that! I had complete lockups in game, the hole system was standing still and some sound fractal was echoing then. Sometimes after an hour, sometimes after half a minute, sometimes not @all, and sometimes prevalently the whole evening.
Now that tZork mentioned it (I think he was the third one who did!!!!), I remember it. But I just have no idea how and when I fixed it. I was thinking about it the whole night! But I think it was at the time when the MSI GF5200 was built in. Now I've got my old Gainward GF5200 Ultra, and the game runs better now, although with the same symptoms like the GF6600, but not that radical.
The Gainward 5200 and the ASUS 6600 both have an additional 12V connector, the MSI had none. Maybe thatz y it caused lockups. So I have to observe the +5V supply.
Actually not necessary to say that I'm gonna run speedfan longer this evening, and my PC won't do anything else than running nexuiz. Too bad that there's no software that's measuring the voltage really continuous, this is not possible as it would take 100% from the CPU, no other app would run anymore. So if my PSU causes errors for only a nano second, no software could recognize that. So letz hope speedfan is fast enough to see when there's summin' wrong.
