Gibs and mouse

Postby Opferlamm » Sat Jun 17, 2006 1:33 am

Hi

If i turn off the gibs in my menu, it works fine. But somebody forgot he eyeballs. In small maps with many players it is looking funny. Eyeballs everywhere

The sec fire is bound to my mousewheel, i mean if i klick it. In some cases, lets say 15 percent, when i startet Nexuiz 2.0, in the menu everything looks allright. But in the game the mousesensitivity feels like being set to one and the sec fire doesn't work.

I use the normal exe not the sdl version.

Funny thing with the eyes.. They get handled differently in the code as the other gibs, but i do not know why yet..

I never had problems with the sensetivity or mousewheelbutton as long as i used windows. Just an idea does the startup option -dinput help?
Form the engine readme:
Windows Input: -dinput enables DirectInput for mouse/joystick input

im not 100% sure, but i think the eyeballs "contains" the "gib-view" camera (the pov for the gibbed player).
HOF:
<Diablo> the nex is a "game modification"
<Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
<Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along
<Samua>]Idea: Fix it? :D
<Samua>Lies, that only applies to other people.

Hmm really good comment ... So we would have to seperate them ? Or atleast make the eye invisible ?

The eyeball acutally IS the gibbed player. His model changes when he is gibbed, that's probably why the eyeball remains visible.

I'll check whether i can fix that :)

Edit: fixed
