Postby zero57 » Sun May 17, 2009 12:18 pm

Hey.... I need help. Everyday, Everytime, When i go and turn on nexuiz the first time on that day. The mouse won't work. I even have to restart my computer by Pressing the button and release. I don't want to keep on doing that. even when i go on my computer and log off and then go back on it does the same....

Note: Everytime when i go sleep I log off my side and go on my sisters side and turn on ktorrent. (Dunno if that helps or anything)

Note2: Im using arch linux!!!!! Not windows or ubuntu.

Thx for helping

Do I get it right, that the first time you start Nexuiz, it doesn't get any input from the mouse, but the next time it does?

Does it happen with both glx and sdl versions? What xorg version are you using? Are you using evdev or old good mouse driver?

Captain obvious to the rescue...

Code: Select all
Section "InputDevice"
   Identifier  "Keyboard0"

What do I read here? Keyboard? Could this be the configuration for a mouse?
...
Lemme think...
...
NO.

Code: Select all
Identifier  "Serial Mouse"
Identifier  "PS/2 Mouse"
Identifier      "USB Mouse"

What kind of mouse do yo have? USB? Serial? PS/2 ?

THINK!

Btw none of these are related to your problem, because everything seems normal.
I don't think it would do anything in your case, but I'd comment out (put # before lines) those parts you don't need (why'd you have that ancient serial mose configured anyway???)
