mouse problem

Hello,

when i launch nexiuz-sdi all seems fine but when i move the mouse, the cursr go to the ceiling, not very good for the gameplay

i run nexiuz on gentoo
kernel : 2.6.16-gentoo-r9
lsusb : Bus 004 Device 002: ID 046d:c506 Logitech, Inc. MX-700 Cordless Mouse Receiver

please help me, this is the first game i run under linux.

Do you happen to have another mouse laying around to try if it specificly for your mouse or not? (This mouse of yours could be sending certain signals about there battery and stuff, duno for sure, but this might be the cause of it, no clue however how to fix it at this stage) (Also try to emerge neverball or another small game, and see if it also has this issue, will wel narrowing down the problem)

is there a way for play with my original mouse?

I have not had such problems so its just an idea.. does the startup option -dinput change anything?
