I use it because I'm too lazy to learn to work linux properly. I've tinkered with ubuntu but I felt it was very counter intuitive. What puts me off is mostly the lack of driver support or the fact I'd have to go and hunt for it.

I did like ubuntu because it INSTANTLY picked up all the other computers etc. on my home network. Getting windows to network like that has been a massive pain in the @$$.
Also, all my university stuff seems to run primarily on windows funnily enough. Its bad enough writing a huge assignment, putting in on my USB key then discovering I forgot to convert it from Open Office format. I now keep a handy little file conversion program on my USB key just in case.
