Alright I've downloaded and installed Nexuiz 2.4 using the "Add/Remove Applications" (the Application Manager) on Ubuntu (9.04 Jaunty Jackalope 64Bit) and I'm having trouble with the Ubuntu/Debian package "Nexuiz-data_2.5-1~getdeb1_all.DEB".
It throws this error message at me bold and red...
"Error: Conflicts with the installed package 'nexuiz'"
now besides unzipping and overwriting "Data.pk3" which is contained in Full Zip as well as the DEB file, what else can I do?
Another thing...
Would installing the map-pack of 35 affect this at all?

Remove Nexuiz 2.4.1 first. 2.5.1 cannot be installed on top of 2.4.1.

found out (2.4.1) the hard way and I have remove everything from usr/shared/games deleted folder within "Nexuiz".
How do I properly install Nexuiz 2.5 onto Ubuntu from the zip?

Just download the full zip from nexuiz.com. And extract it anywhere you like. And run the glx or sdl sh script.
This is much better than package managers, they are slow as hell in updating Nexuiz.
