Running Nexuiz from my Sandisk Cruzer

Hi, I recently changed my OS on my eeepc to eeebuntu, which, takes up much more memory than the default OS, Xandros. To get to the point, eeebuntu has left me which no memory for Nexuiz, I have tried to run it from my Sandisk Cruzer, the menu loads fine, (so do the available servers, although, with very bad ping) but I can't join a game or open the campaign mode, the loading just freezes at the half-way point. Any help please? I have re-downloaded Nexuiz twice, in case my .zip file was corrupted, but this hasn't worked. I would appreciate any help, I miss playing Nexuiz.


P.S. Is the bad ping on servers to do with the fact that I'm running from my flash drive?

if you are going to play it from a flash drive, use DSN.

I hate DSN, my flash drive enough memory (16 Gigs), so I don't know what the problem is.
