Okay looks like some files are failing to load, which is odd as the same libraries do work for other mac users. What version of Mac OSX are you running and on which type of hardware?

Also please paste the output of (execute this in a terminal):

Code: Select all
otool -L /Users/carolynanderson/Desktop/alex stuff/sdgdsgg/pics from camera2/10:2:09/cell phone camera/Nexuiz/Nexuiz.app/Contents/MacOS/libvorbis.dylib

otool -L /Users/carolynanderson/Desktop/alex stuff/sdgdsgg/pics from camera2/10:2:09/cell phone camera/Nexuiz/Nexuiz.app/Contents/MacOS/libtheora.dylib

You can safely ignore the error about OffscreenGecko.

converting all sounds to wav will take lots more diskspace and ram while playing, so this is not a good idea.

I want to help you debug this problem, but I need output of the commands I posted earlier. Without knowing where to look, I can't come up with any kind of fix.

The reason those commands may have failed is because the spaces may need escaping (directories with spaces is a bad idea). Best get the correct path using the terminals' autocomplete function, available with the TAB key. Or temporarily move the Nexuiz folder to your Desktop.

libtheora and libvorbis don't seem to load, this is odd
you said it worked before - then before converting the sounds, the best solution is using the old library files.
However, it would be better to find out why the don't work. Try preloading them by setting the DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES environment variable to a full path to a library, this might give you better error messages.
