Dreckloch is buggy

At the dreckloch i can walk IN the walls. Not really through, but in many places i can run right into the wall and look what's at the other side. I am not able to shot at someone who is on the other side of the wall, but i can see, where somebody is going to. And i am able to shot someone who "is on my side of the wall" while he can't see me or he is just seeing the tip of my nex. So i hope that this is a bug and not a feature ;)

On other server i have not test ist right now.

i've no idea what could've caused it , a simple restart did the trick :?

after some consultations with various people i still have no idea why it was happening. would be good to know to prevent further complications. bug occured on every map and for everyone playing on the server. the ladder server, running on spinfusor.org as well, had no problems. so if anyone has an idea.... :!: :)

Thats like what happens if the user is running a different map to the server. This used to happen on the SVN version when joining normal servers when the old nexdm14 was replaced. That would mean that there is something very wrong with map rotation.

hmm, map rotation wasn't changed since dreckloch startet again with the 2.0 release and it was running fine all the time.... :?

I have no idea what could have caused that, an tbh i won't have time to investigate this issue until wednesday. If it returns, i will have a look at it. Since i tend to visit these forums on a weekly basis at most you can try to catch me in #nexuiz on quakenet (my bnc is always there ;) ), via e-mail ctrlaltdel@spinfu<nospamplz>sor.org or just ask Daedalus to relay any messages to me.

edit: for clarifications sake: Daedalus can restart the server but cannot alter the configuration on a permanent level. But he will always be able to relay any required information to me, since i tend to be absent rather often.

yeah, as long as Ctrl+Alt+Del believes that alcoholism and writing permissions aren't a good combination i have to stuck to my role as the workhorse :evil:
