Nexuiz 1.5 TDM Bugs

Since moving from Nexuiz 1.2.1 to 1.5 , Yellow Team doesnt work on TDM mode. Blue Team Works, Red Team works , but You can't select Yellow Team.

Please fix this with the next Nexuiz update


Also the team color selection section of the player setup needs to get re added back since it was taken out of 1.5 and it was a better selection in 1.2.1

Sorry to disapoint you but its working.. its just that the number of teams can be set and this feature had a bug and did not work right in 1.2.1. The default for the teams is 2 meaning by default you can only play as teams red or blue. If the server changes this more teams can play and then you can choose yellow and pink.

I'm not sure what you mean.. the team selection is now done when you join the game. Thats less confusing then the old system and that way the pants/shirts colors you can choose are independend from the team color. However it would be nice if one could choose a default instead of getting the team selection menu.

lol, being able to chose a yellow team was a BUG ... but I also expected some people to whine about that.

the fact is that, until v1.2.1, the max. team number variable was not working. all servers running TDM have 2 teams by default, and these teams are red and blue. however, people were able to play in a yellow team and this should not be allowed. fortunately, this bug has been fixed and all people liking the yellow crosshair are officially f*cked

Why have the join screen selection mention Pink and Yellow,
if you cant join them any more ?

I would like the choice of joining Yellow team so all the newbies go on Blue and Red Team .

You can join those teams if the server is set to a 3 or 4 teams teamplay.
The only reason the button show up in a 2 teams game is, that it is easier that way. That menu was originally designed for 4 teams and it would have been required to change the graphics and menu code to hide those buttons...
