Hi there,

in the Version 1.0xxx it gaves some Option that ican Change my Resolution to 1280 x 800 that is a Usefuloption for some MobilePC user with Widescreen.
Give it any way to change some File to get this Resolution?
That would be Great. Or better: Implement it in the Game

You can get that resolution from the console. That is the easiest way.

I agree. Widescreens are becoming more popular, and their resolutions should be available in the menu.

Adding new resolution to the menu is really easy, but since i don't have a widescreen LCD, i don't know which resolutions are commonly used.
If you provide me a list, i could add them...

Dave's List of Common Screen Resolutions:
(w) indicates widescreen resolution

640x480
800x600
1024x768
1152x864
1280x800 (w)
1280x1024
1440x900 (w)
1680x1050 (w)
1600x1200
1920x1200 (w)

These resolutions should all be options on the menu.
I do not think any other resolutions should be built into the menu.

Edit: Replaced 1600x1050 with 1680x1050

Are you shure about that one? The other widescreen resolutions are all 16:10...
And is there a 1024x640 resolution?

Edit: there already is 1600x900 in the menu, i think that makes more sense since it's 16:9

Will the next verison of Nexuiz support 1152 x 864 in the menu choice ?

Is their a config file I can add the vid screen commands to , so every time I load nexuiz I dont have to type the commands ??

Yes, i've already added that to my local copy, just have to commit it.

If you change the resolution from the console, like Ed described, it will be saved when you quit Nexuiz. So you just need to type those commands once

I am sure. WSXGA+ is common with Dell and Apple displays.

Not really.

Edit: there already is 1600x900 in the menu, i think that makes more sense since it's 16:9

16:10 is more popular than 16:9, in Computer Displays. Replace this with wsxga+.
