no mouse + brightness adjusts wrong monitor

I was comparing console output and I noticed that there is a line extra in the working case:

g_float GLX_ARB_get_proc_address

It comes right after the line that says:

GL_VERSION: 2.0.2 NVIDIA 87.74

Does this make any sense to anyone?

I'm not so sure there is anything 'we' can do. Every game i tried with 'RightOf' did not work. It might be a drivers or X11 thing. Maybe LordHavoc the engine programmer does know more about it.

I tried Sauerbraten today and it mostly works. I get a black window on my second(left) monitor and my right screen goes into fullscreen mode. Apart from the window which makes my left screen black, which perhaps is a good thing, hmm, it just works. So that would mean that this is indeed a nexuiz bug. So again what can I do?

I've never tried setting up a dual-head X server, but perhaps using twinview instead of cinerama works better.

The previous was for version 2.1. I've just installed 2.2.1 and it still doesn't work as it should. The mouse cursor stays the little quake-like symbol/hourglass like something doesn't finish. I have to switch out of X to kill nexuiz.

Hmm, actually it seems that was just a one time thing. Now when I start it it mostly works, but my mouse cursor moves off screen either by itself or when I move it. However I move the mouse it always goes either down or right.

When I move the mouse right or left the mouse cursor moves right. When I move it up or down it moves down.

esteel: I changed LeftOf to RightOf and it worked. I got a mouse. How crazy is that! Also Nexuiz was on the primary screen this time. I guess it Just goes to the left part of the combined screen real estate.

What about this? Apparently you had it working once.. It seems to me this is a driver bug so you can't expect a new Nexuiz version to fix this.
Also right now i settled with nvidias twinview and its working great.. how about you use that too?

I expect that if I change Left and Right again that it would work.
I don't think this is a driver bug, because as I said before sauerbraten works correctly.
