I've added a basic RSS mod, but I'm not sure I'm all that happy with it, so I'll let you guys try it out for a bit.

So this is unofficial for the time being and may be changed in the near future pending feedback and research...

This one seems to work pretty good in Firefox, alright in Opera, but not all that well in IE...

Nice, i actually like that thing. Would be useful if one could also search the active topics for the last X days.. putting a * as search and limiting it to X days does not work..

Yeah, this RSS feed is a bit odd...

I don't think there is a way to search specifically by dates according to the http vars...

http://forums.alientrap.local/rss.php?t=1&c=50
shows the last 50 topics (the board defaults to a max of 50 news listings)
http://forums.alientrap.local/rss.php?c=50
shows the last 50 posts
and you can set it up by individual forum sections with ?/&f=# as well

Nice.. rss feeds are really useful for such forums. Maybe Willis or tZork could also add a link to those feeds on the main page. If that stuff is stable enough. Hmm granted all modern browser should display that rss icon somewere but direct links make it easier to notice them. I'd almost miss that rss icon in firefox as i hardly look at that address bar.

Its not much scrolling to find the download link but it might be useful if you edit your first or last post to have a big download link. That way its easier to find.
