Damn, taste is really different. I've seen many movies listed above, and I consider some of them a real waste of time.

Two movies that I can remommend:
- The Game (with Michael Douglas)
- Vanilla Sky (Tom Cruise)

and two more serious movies:
- Das Leben der anderen
- Der Pianist

I dunno about their translated titles, the mentioned titles are the original ones iirc

Eraserhead is very good, reminds me of when life was simpler.
The Game had a clever plot too.
Another good one is Adaptation.

Yellow Robot

You liked Audition? That movie was nuts! I had to stop watching it when it got to the psycho tied-up scene. :-o

You should have continued watching shame on you! :P But I do not blame you! I spent a good bit of that scene biting a cushion and jiving like a cricket. Definitely not for the faint hearted- but a really great bit of unique cinema. Oh and a description of the films ending is on wiki if your interested! But those who have not seen (and plan to....) pls dont spoil yer funn! Moauahahahaha!.. ha!..ha...heh....er..
