No mainstream at all! (do You really think You there's just one song by ACDC or Midnight Oil You cannot google????)

Australian band, 3 members, recorded at Sing Sing studios, Melbourne, 1987. Spaceman Records. Style between Punk Rock, Grunge and Biker Rock. Really hard to guess when You don't know them.

ok, i give up. the last bands that came up in my mind were:

- dead can dance

- go-betweens

- exploding white mice

but noone of the the above recorded a cd at the sing-sing studios.
so plz solve the riddle or give another helpful hint
