Stats Parsing

Postby Johnny_Honda » Tue Sep 04, 2007 12:51 am

I run a small dedicated server for fun..nothing to write home about. I would enjoy keeping track of the match data. Is there something available to do this? :?:

We kludged together a bunch of scripts for http://delight.vapor.com. I can send you a recent copy of that stuff if you are interested. It won't be too easy to set this up for your site though but it might help you to get going and you could also try to contact ZyankLee who managed to set up an earlier version on his site. See http://forums.alientrap.local/viewtopic.php?t=1430.

You might also have a look at Rubyplaces (see http://forums.alientrap.local/viewtopic.php?t=39).

Thanks for the info...I took a brief look at what you pointed me too and it is definetly mor e than what I want to do. I have used Aeon Stats and G log and many other stat programs before. I thought maybe there was something quick and easy. I have some linux experience and from what I see it would be better for me to setup the dedicated server in linux and work from there. I just want to play the game with some friends at this point.

info about htis is still found in your nexuiz/Docs/scorelog.txt file iirc
