2vs2 North American ladder

Being a bit too busy to make an account today, I'm hijacking my daughters for a minute to make an initial post.

I have been talking to some others in the community about the current status of the ladders as they exist. A few have told me that the current ladders are more euro centric and as a result its difficult, if not impossible, for matches to be scheduled and run easily between the continents.

Knowing that I'm unlikely to ever compete in anything again that is serious or be in a clan of some sort to compete, I got thinking that perhaps a north american ladder for 2vs2 might be something people would be interested in being a part of in this community. I don't pretend to know how to run one but I could learn perhaps with a bit of help. I've already made some tentative discussions with another community member about this and he might be willing to help with the server time.

I suggest to use the existing 2on2 ladder, american teams should just american teams.

If an american team is challenged by an european team, it can decline the challenge with that reason. I don't see a problem there.

I see one problem. If they decline all Europeen challenges they might not get enough action to climp the ladder, so it's unfair. Just a thought.
