Why when L.M.S is such a good variation of the game are there not more maps that have L.M.S.I have played lms_farewell more than normal deathwatch as it is great fun,the playing field is more even as everyone starts with the same health without pickups and as the match is even skill will out,so anyone want to put a few more lms maps of this ilk into the game it will be played with great enthusiasm I am sure. :D :D

This will be fixed in the next release - in mapinfo, DM and LMS will be supported on all non-CTF maps, unless the mapper turns it off (which will be required on some of them, but not on many).
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

I believe it is the routine camp check, dealing 100 damage if it deems you with a velocity of 0 and too great a distance from other players by a set unit of 1800 qu, regardless of map size + spawn density, as 'camping'; with a checking interval of 10 seconds...

As the objective in LMS is near polar opposite to Deathmatch, it is not unconceivable that forcing players to play the gamemode in a manner similar to Deathmatch causes LMS to cede toward the more common Deathmatch.

The punishment is applied when you move less than 1800qu in 10sec (at default settings), but only movement in the x,y-plane is considered, so jumping up and down on a spot won't increase your traveled distance.
