haha lolz you can run nex split screen (its not split screen properly because you have to run nex twice) well i do not advise this to low end computers because of split takin 2ce as much memo and up to 50-80% of CPU and Graphics.
well the story is simple you either copy nex so it takes up twice as much space or you will just run the same app twice but nothin will save because they will keep on overwriting themselves!! so if you want to play on the net using different players better choose the first option. So after you have copied nex do this
1)open both of config.cfg
2) find vid_heigth and half it
3) on the end of one of them add joy_enable
4) on the end of both add snd_mutewhenidle 0 , vid_fullscreen 0 , cl_fps 60
cl_maxidlefps 60 and vid_vsync 1
5)save
note: DONT CHANGE YOUR RESOLUTION CAUSE IT WILL MAKE WINDOWS BIGGER OR SMALLER IF YOU REALLY HAVE TO, THEN HALF THE vid_height VALUE IN BOTH CFGs
before you begin you need to bind joystick with actions (jump walk etc.) on ONE client
OK THIS IS HOW YOU PLAY SPLIT SCREEN, on one client you create a game and you join with the other one! OR you both join the same game
in time of writing this i received this:
You could make a directory beside data and copy your data/config.cfg into it, and run it with -game on the commandline of one of them but not the other, still reads the data from data/ but your other directory would be used for the configs/screenshots for the second client.
i dont get if you have to copy nexuiz.exe and give it another name and leave it in the same folder I might give it a try because it will save a lot of space!
