Ok, I have 2.4 and I dont' know if the software allows what I'd like (to practice), but...
My single player game menu (listed one level at first, I thought) now lists 7 levels...
"Instant Action" cycles the 'included' maps (hardcoded?, or where?), but not the other 6 now on the menu... If I play one of the other 6, sometimes it repeats next game, sometimes it auto-cycles among the other 5, and not the 'included' maps...
I have a bunch of maps I downloaded and are saved in nexuiz\data...
...while their .mapinfo's are saved in nexuiz\data\data\maps.
Not to mention all the maps that auto-download from online servers, that are saved in nexuiz\data\dlcache...
I read through the Docs folder... looked through the wiki...
Is there some way to get all the maps in one place... -and- have them show up in the Main Menu to select individually? ...and get nexuiz to cycle through them all in 'Instant Action' singleplayer? I can leave online maps (and make copies) in dlcache if I have to... but it's confusing to have \data, \data\dlcache, \data\data, \data\data\maps... and read about .mapinfo and .mapcfg... and I don't see nexuiz auto-generating any .mapinfo's, or whatever, when I do a changelevel to load a custom map. Is 'changelevel' or 'map' the only way to load these custom maps? 'exec' doesn't seem to work for me.
Basically, I'd like to practice all the maps with singleplayer bots... be nice to be able to select them from Menu... be nice to have them cycle with Instant Action.
Any way/info on this ?
