to start a direct export to an .avi-video. It may stutter, but in the end you'll have a better video quality than with any kind of screen capturing program. It takes some time and a lot of disk space though. So, be prepared. *
When you're finished with that, you'll have to open the console again and set
cl_capturevideo 0
to stop exporting.
Quit the game and start Finder -> "Go to" -> "Go to folder..." and type in
~/.nexuiz/data
Now you'll see your personal ultra-special secret Nexuiz folder which contains your configuration file, your download cache, your screenies, your demos and your exported .avi-footage.
All you need to do now is to put your footage into any other folder (like Movies), start up iMovie and edit this stuff.
Have funskij!
* P.S: Before exporting .avis, you should max your settings to have a nice movie to look at later. After export is complete, you can return to your old settings. Yeah, and turn off your HUD & crosshair to see more of the screen.
I have two separate configuration files for this purpose, but there also seem to be prefabricated .cfgs around somewhere.

Anyway, you might want to export them to real uncompressed video files to edit them later with your video editing software. So, I quote myself...I wrote:When the demo's playing back, you can open the console another time and type
