With nexuiz closed, download the map to your data directory.

Then type "maps" in console and it will show a list of all of your maps.

Then type "map mapname" and it will load that map for you to play

If you aren't sure about the map name, then type "map " plus the first few characters of the map and press tab and it will auto-complete the mapname for you (or show you multiple files that match that pattern).

Loading a map this way will default to 5 minutes of gameplay, so type "timelimit 20" or whatever.

Type "bot_number 4" to add some bots to the map.

And for other settings to try, search by keyword here....
http://www.nexuizninjaz.com/toolz/cvar/

so if you want to know about bot settings, then search for keyword "bot".

And you don't have to write always the next comment after a post from you. The forum has got an Edit function ;-)

  • start nexuiz
  • go in the "Create" menu
  • rest by yourself

Use Finder to find the data directory with "config.cfg" in it. Dump the pk3s there.

Maybe even How to increase your post count by double/triple/quadriple posting?
How not to ask questions? fits pretty well though... :?

KillaGrunt, just add me if you have MSN. We'll go through this step by step. There's no reason to spam the forums...
My addy is in my profile, which is accessible at each of my posts at the lower left corner of the post itself.

By the way, the EDIT button for editing your posts is at the upper right corner of them. So that you don't have to spam around with double posts and stuff.
