I have a coworker that brings in his own IBM Model M keyboard because he prefers the clicky feedback when he types. I think it's obnoxious. It's right up there with the really loud beeping noise that some electronics make when you press the keys.

OMGZ, How will I know that I've pressed a key if it doesn't make a loud, obnoxious noise???? If the sound doesn't puncture my eardrums, then how will I know that the buttons worked?!?!!

I prefer keyboards that make little to no noise. but where you can feel a slight "click" when you press the keys. I've been on the lookout for such a keyboard. Would one of those cherry keyboards fulfill my needs?

This. I've had mine for almost three years now, works like a charm. It's really helped me to stop looking down at the keyboard all the time.
