That's based on the Ariel Atom. Personally, I'd go with the original because you can buy it now and it will cost less. All that American guy has done is make it electric. Not really that clever.
It's far heavier than the Atom which weighs only 456Kg so the handling will be rubbish in comparison.
This is the original, it's powered by a Japanese spec Honda Civic Type-R engine but with a supercharger to give 300bhp. That gives 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and costs from £29k:
