Making mistakes is how we learn . To become an expert in a field, is to learn how to edit out everything but the information you need, admitting when you make mistakes and trying to fix those mistakes a fast as you possibly can. Pride will only get in your way.

Having fallen off space maps plenty in my "Nexuiz Career" you can see my correction of error when I realized what was happening. I rocketed myself to my death. I'm obviously dead at this point and not retaining any of my items, the best thing I can do is try to respawn faster, i.e kill myself.

Cross-post insight, the only way I consider this a positive thing, is in the area of self-improvement. In game, points wise, this is still a negative action. Simply put, we're trying to make lemonade out of lemons.
