Oh yeah you are right, it always jumps to the first new post 'in that session'. A workaround is to click on the link Mark all forums read but you should only do that if you really read all things, because then the 'new posts' will also be empty. Hope you get what i mean

Like I havent read all the posts.. duh!

But anyways.. do you ment that the symbol takes me to the last unread in the thread, or the last psoted? For me it seems to take me to the last one posted.

In the downloads section of the main page, it would make sense to link to current packages for various Linux distributions, it would save troubleshooting time if we could be sure that the necessary dependencies are resolved.

Well it seems the debian based distros already have such packges in their repositories. Gentoo also has a nexuiz-ebuild. I'm not sure how the situation is the rpm based distros but i also hope they created some packages.
As creating a single package for all distros is mostly impossible the best thing there is what we currently have. The zip file. But how about trying to get those distros that do not yet have Nexuiz in their repositories to add it? Maybe people could tell us which need to be pushed a bit
