You gotta love Google Video

Postby SavageX » Thu Mar 02, 2006 8:38 pm

Interesting to see that Google Video has music-videos from a few of my most loved bands:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5021214530633413654&q=edguy

Interesting that Google seems to have licenses for that stuff - they better have or otherwise some music industry guys may be slightly irritated :-/

It's especially interesting for owners of video iPods, that Google Video makes high-quality, popular videos available in iPod format, circumventing the fee charged by the iTunes Music Store.

I think the user has most of the rospinisibility for what he/she makes public.. this has been settled in court several times, in many coutries.

Some companies actually make their TV series available for iPod Video for free after the show has been aired, realizing it cant be used for anything in such a small format anyways.. the world is actually going forwayd :D

why?
im not in love with google, like much of the internet seems to be
yeah, i use their search, and their mail system, even sometimes the translator and video stuff...
but thats all it really is for me... a nice search engine, and an ok online mai service

if they went down tomorrow, id prob swich to yahoo mail, and use youtube some more...

heck, i dont even hate microsoft, i *hate* murders and people on that level, microsoft may have done somehing equaly bad, that if i found out about would cause me to hate them... as it is, i strongly dislike them..

still, why hate or dislike google?

I have to disagree with you.. As humans it should be our responsibility to come to the aid of the less fortunate, not making deals with then supressors.
