Idea: if you like working on ways to auto-ban people, and like working on nexuiz, then (rather than wasting your time working on a forum banning method) work on a method of heuristic banning (that individual servers can use) for nexuiz. Like you'd have the server take statistics on someone you want to ban (how often they use weapon x, y, z, how often they bunny hop, what their talking is like, etc), then you have the server auto ban anyone who conforms to that hureristic, and send a mocking message to them.

Basically, it allows moving a thread out of the normal forums with a much better conscience than if it would be deleted and some other people would think it wasn't bad enough for deletion yet.

When I was still thinking this subforum was for Mikee's rants only, I liked the idea of it. But now there are already threads being moved here (4m's general spam thread for example) that would previously NEVER have been deleted I'm not so sure anymore.

1. If the 'better conscience' means faster locking/deletion, do you really consider this a good thing and why?
2. Will every thread that derails into post-a-silly-pic now be moved here? I have always considered this a charming feature of this forum and would hate to see it go.

4m's thread was clearly a parody on mikee's lost job thread... so they belong in the same place to me.

Or did I misjudge it? Another advantage of the trash subforum is that threads can not just moved into it, but also moved out of it if the decision was a mistake.
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

It was kind of a "parody", but with a positive touch to it; sort of a "heads-up", in the sense of "been there, done that". (lol get it? In the aforementioned thread i wrote "lift your head up".... I COMMAND YOU TO LAUGH!)

And i do think spam belongs in the /bin. Or the frying pan.

I actually did loose my job (I was fired from my job).
Alpha prayed that I always have (at most) a terrible minimum wage job and never anything better because he believes people who are not pro-women's rights should be punished (this is what he stated).

What? Just because of one troll post the whole thread should be moved to trash? Much better to delete that post instead. (If this was indeed what you meant with this statement)
Just because trash exists doesn't mean every little thing should be moved there. Keep in mind, as Div stated, it's a 'second chance' for threads that would have been deleted locked.

I see no reason to delete or lock this thread.
