Nexuiz Ninjaz maps in Singleplayer Mode???

Postby xplinux557 » Sat Jun 27, 2009 2:15 am

Hi

I downloaded a few maps from the Nexuiz Ninjaz repo and they worked. But the only place where they can be used is in a multiplayer game. Can you use the community-made maps in a singleplayer campaign?

When the game starts up there's three screens in the background you can click. Click the screen on the right. When it comes up it has like three tabs, click the tab on the right that says "Create" I think it says. That allows you to create games with bots, on a map and gametype of your choice. Just select whatever options you want and then start the game.

People from online can also join in when you do this (unless you don't leave enough slots open or you're using at least certain types of firewalls I think), but generally speaking it is single player.

I've already tried this. For some reason, whenever I load up the match, none of the bots are in the arena! I set "Player Slots" to 1 and "Number of Bots" to 3. Where did all the bots go?

Never mind. I found out that if I have 3 bots and 1 human player, then I should set "Player Slots" to 4 to let the bots and I enter the game! :D I can't believe i didn't realize that! Thanks for telling me about bot matches though!

Actually, this was changed in Nexuiz 2.5, such servers don't appear on the master server list anymore. They only appear in the list from computers on the same LAN
Meh.
