Bloom and HDR - What's the difference?

In Nexuiz 2.0, you can enable Bloom and HDR. What's the difference between the two? And for the best visual quality, should Bloom be enabled, HDR be enabled, or both be enabled?

If you enable HDR normal bloom is disabled..
HDR will look better but also cost more FPS.
You might notice that hdr is enabled in the included high quality config files while bloom is enabled in the mid quality config files and both are disabled in the low qual. config files.
