A friend of mine was told by her parents that they are going to block the port required by the World of Warcraft game client to communicate with the WoW server thru the router at their home.
WoW uses TCP port 3724, and this cannot be changed.
If there was some way to route the communication between the WoW client and the WoW server thru a port besides 3724, that would be great.
The only solution I can think of currently, is to use tor from http://www.torproject.org/. I don't know if that will work, so I'd like alternative solutions if that one fails.
Her parents were fuming because she didn't go right to eat dinner when called, so they are trying to lay down the block.
We're too badass to put up with this, so we need paths around the block, or smth.
Can anybody here provide us with more info about ways to bypass this block?
