just wanted to inform you guys that you won't see me again in the Nexuiz community anymore, at least not this year. I'm going to study in Canada for the rest of the year and have no urge or intentions to play there (no time, crappy laptop bad fps, don't want to spend time on PC there either). When I can't play anyway I also don't see a reason to further keep reading posts of the forum or get involved in other activities. Canada and studying there will keep me busy well enough, that's why I'll stop these activites completely.
At the moment I can not say how my life will be there and what impact it will have on my everyday schedule. So maybe I'll want to play the game afterwards again, or maybe not. No idea.
I hope that the game will develop in a nice way and break the 1GB size mark (div0, you have to make it true
!). Developers, please don't "mess up" the game. When you do changes, remember what makes Nexuiz individual to other games, and if you happen to change or remove some of these individual aspects, one can just go play the other game as well, as they would likely have a bigger community.
I also hope that the pickup and competitive community starts growing again (I originally wrote "keeps growing" until I realized...).
Sidenote: Ladder server management is now done by m0rfar, ehrm Ixion. He also has the power to create new ladders on the ladder page in case that should be required.
