I agree, there only need to be 5 icons.
And possibly 5 icons that look like what they represent, so they do not have to be learned.

I made some more updates. Including using another icon set.

I would have added a legend, but it's kind of a royal pain in the butt on phpBB 3.

Maybe later.

The moderator/admin user name color just switched from red to yellow, which makes them completely unreadable in the "prosilver" forum theme. I imagine there are per-theme CSS files somewhere that are more appropriate for stuff like this.

view the html source and you'll see how you're mistaken.

The colors are defined inline and the value is taken from the database as defined by the usergroup color option.
Code: Select all
class="username-coloured" style="color: rgb(255, 255, 102);"

This is unfortunate. Only 14 users use prosilver, so I don't consider this a necessarily high priority but since the Admin Control Panel also uses a light theme, I will consider finding a color that can compromise better across the two themes.

Wow, that dot stuff is realy cool :)
Icons are getting better. I'll have to forum a bit more to get used to it, or give more proper feedback what to change. On the first blink I like it :)

(Smileys are still ugly :P :mrgreen: )

Here's my proposal for the smileys: standard phpbb afaik, only mrgreen (the original) is missing.

These icons are much better. Very easy to see what kind of threads they are and new posts.
Nice touch with that 'you have posted in this thread' dot icon.
