Summary: 4m is making a magazine. Helpers wanted. (there's no money, so no paid jobs, yet)
I know we all are quite busy doing stuff.... but i have a great idea! Let's do even MORE work! Long story short - no, let me start from the beginning:
So, i started buying Linux magazines (i'm using Linux solely now), but i was disappointed at the quantity, quality and content, so i decided to make my own magazine. I don't care for quality, if the content is interesting. But it wasn't, it was nerdy (but boring, too). So i decided to make my own. You know me, I don't like snotty elite stuff, but something enjoyable for the average Joe and Jolene, rather. The idea is a collaborative magazine done over the internet (just like Nexuiz! Wait, is Nexuiz a magazine?) about internet, computing, Nexuiz and the open source community. (At first, i wanted to do everything myself, but i couldn't come up with any content. One page of spam is funny, but ten?). Naming is a tough one. I've gone thru a long list of different names and reduced it to two: "Fresh IT" and "Prof.IT". You get the idea. (It should be "poppy", funny and interesting to kids and adults. Okay, maybe we need two magazines). Pick the one you prefer or submit a new name. Next task would be creating the website. I also want to ask any artist, cartoonist, musician to join in and submit their work. The DVD will include multimedia, if the magazine's ever going into print, that is. Would be cool, tho.
(mmmmh.... printed spam.... delicious!)
