How to tackle the Nexuiz:console situation?

There has naturally been some rather harsh discource the last few days, about the announcement of the commercial console version of Nexuiz. IllFronic has been activly trying to address their position on the forums, and the opposition to, if not the project itself, their approach, has been vocal.

Event though it's quite obvious that they do not know their audience to well, and could have chosen their words better, I would suggest that for now we take it at face value that they don't intend to do anything to "harm" the Old project, and that the old project will benefit from this.

Let's just keep our heads, and see if it is true that we "will like" whatever is happening, when we can see for ourselves what.. well, is happening.

But, by all means, be prepared to _not_ like whats happening as well.

My plan was to rally up a bunch of people to start a class-action-suit. After which we would do a code comparison in an open court to determine if anything got in the game that legally couldn't be in it.
