Any Tricks & suggestions for Nexuiz

Has anyone got any advice, tips or tricks, to improve my gameplay... I also noticed that big time players, very good, and quite annoying, dont allow, time to practice.... I think it would be good if a practice zone should be made, with levels to all players, so only a certain level can practice their, e.g noobs, novices... That way you would not be getting your ass kicked by Veterans? i believe their called, well....
