Corporate usually means big and powerful, like Wal-Mart and not the local Feed & Seed.
It certainly does not mean non-profites, and I guess new businesses could be included if they are professional enough.
However it does ambiguify it by saying business, there is quite a difference between corporations and business.

Well, most people have that association with "corporate", but it's not technically correct. I can start a corporation that is just made up of myself, if I wanted to. Corporations can also be non-profit (at least, this is how it works in the U.S.)

You might be surprised that the local ma-n-pop store on the corner is actually an incorporated business. It provides a legal safety net.
