2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

Congrats on the new release!!
There was such a long time between 2.3 and 2.4 I thought development had ceased! (Luckily I visit the Nexuiz homepage semi-regularly to check for updates).
Since the performance has picked up, hopefully the new Asus EEE 900 (the newer eeePC that will be out in April/May 2008) will be able to play it smoothly.
I'll make sure http://www.headshotgamer.com/ does a review of 2.4 quick smart.
