Great release! Have only played the forum release so far, but hey - it only can get better
Much greater improvement than 1.5 was, it looks like Nexuiz is on its way to the best open source game out there (yes, yes, i know it already is )

The many players, who watched the progress from 1.0 or later releases untill now, can imagine best the hard work that was put into Nexuiz, and if not done yet, feel, like to donate some spare dollars/euros/zloty/krones - so dont hold back, it will help the developers to continue there great work

I also wrote to those news sites now. The more mails they get the more important it is to them and the higher the chances that they write something about it. I made a post in the debianforum.de forum too.

Well some other obvious news sites (english speaking) would be slashdot, planetquake.com, arstechnica.. Might do that later the day.

Depending on the place you look there are lots of people that like to think other wise A friend of mine does not like it very much because the 'grenade launcher' is actually one of the best wepaons
