Melee Weopons?

What If Someone made Melle Weopons?

Maybe like the Halo Sword(Homing Attack)

Or Maybe When Ur Holding it U get Uber speed and jump

For The Design what About something like a Star Wars Republic Commando where a blade pops out of ur armor?Or Just A standard Lightsaber?

Would It Work?

Im a newb I was just thinking about melee weopons and how kool it would be to have them.

(If there is a limitation on number of weopons,I heard someone say that, then modify the pistol,no one uses it anyway)

I think Nexuiz is just too fast for a melee weapon. And we certainly don't want any one-hit-kill weps. *glances at nexgun and rocket launcher*

Maybe as secondary function of the lazer? I never realy use the swith to last weapon anyway.

k wat if the secondary function was a red beam sword coming out of lazer and lazer transforms into the shape of a sword. seconday transforms from one and another

For one thing "The Pistol" as you called it (really the laser) is used ALL the time for jumping and another thing is that this game just isn't really fit for a me lee weapon, you rarely get that close to anybody, if you do your prolly already dead.

Ummm please stop putting so many free lines between your lines, it makes me cry.
Then, there is half a limitation. It's limited, but with CSQC you can add more weapons.
Aaaaaand the laser is the ultimate tool in the game, if anyone dares to touch that, I'm gonna blow a hole into whoever does it
And for such a "key", a simple "new" key, you could just add a new `impulse` to the SVQC part :>

We don't hate you, just giving a opinion about using the laser for something other than it was intended.
Personally I think a melee weapon is a waste of time in this game, but you are free to mod the game any way you could dream of
