I think LMS although I'd be just as happy with DM. I think there's enough CTF and (m)instagib already.

I like a new mod instead. Like severally posted already, I'd like to have a minstagib server with health items and regular Nexgun ammunition. The small health pickups mean 1 extra life, the big ones mean 2.

Me and some other players experienced this mod by accident, switchin from DM to Minsta within the game. It was hell of a fun and everybody should try it out. Maybe there's a problem in modifying the mod this way, I could imagine

LMS btw isn't very popular, that's why all those servers disappeared sooner or later...

Well, when I last tried, the server was almost empty with regular DM and at least had some players with regular LMS...

as for that Minstagib idea... I could easily implement that, I just don't see the point... when each small health pack is an extra life, how would anyone die?

An idea: there's lots of available cells then (and weapons using cells then also would get replaced by a cells pickup). So... if players start with three lives and the Nex refires quite fast (maybe 0.3 seconds), killing players will be possible again. That's how a "MG Nex" mod could actually work out...

Try to keep youself supplied with enough ammunition

I'd really like to invite you to a test match together with 4 or 5 other players. the DCC servers are minsta voteable. It is fun, i can assure you

What's NixNex? And runes is not that fun, it sounds more fun than it is

NixNex is that weapon training mutator that gives everyone just one weapon, and all people the same one. After some time, players see a count "Next weapon: Mortar" and a countdown. When the countdown is over, everyone has the mortar for some time - and so on.

It leads to slower matches because people can't always use their favorite weapon, but that way people get to learn the different weapons better.

Thats not possible right now as both are game modes on their own and not just 'mutators' that can interact with other 'little changes'. (The word mutator comes from the UT series but i think its a good one to reuse )

One word: Laser-guided Rocket Arena. Or a different mod each map. Or Exploding Ammo Boxes, or Bezerk, or Mines (whichever version), or... well theres plenty more where that came from. Maybe even... GhostMod? With fog???

Well as long as the ctf server is up i do not worry so much about the other server but yeah nixnex was quite fun the last time i played it. Guess it was also rbi server Why not make the second server rotate game modes each day? One day ffa, one day tdm, one day nixnex, one day arena, one day, laserguided missles..

True, but democracy goes with the majority of a suggestion. It's true that 15 didn't want a DM server, but these 15 didn't stand together in one opinion which then there's not much to do about. If not having a DM server what other game type should you go with? Cause if you choose LMS then there will be 20 that didn't want LMS Heheh... so DM wins.

I didn't want to be ironic in saying that, I never meant to bother about the fact that the second RBI is running DM now.

Actually, I change the game mode of the second RBI server... the thing is, it comes up as plain DM when it restarts... let me see, currently people are playing, when it's empty, I'll see which game mode is next.

From the poll results, I think I will run the following modes:

• plain DM
• Minsta CTF (just two votes, but...)
• plain LMS
• Spidflisk LMS
• NixNex DM

I think it's now Spidflisk LMS time again...
