That mouse is a classic I was actually using one of those up until I got my Razer Lachesis. I gave it to my cousin after I OVERHAULED my peripherals and he loves it.

Hmm, that brings up a question that I've always wondered about (I tried googling for the answer but didn't come up with much).

Will most USB mice work on a Mac?

I do not have a mac so i can't know for sure but the Pro V1.6 works fine on all the PCs i tested, so i can just guess its a normal mouse.. and so i guess normal mouses work on macs

Im only 14 years old. I dont have much money. This is my goal first. After that Im going to buy my parents iMac. Then Im going to buy a better mouse. Probably a Razer or a Logitech.

Heh, I`m the only one with a logitech G9? It's awsome.

I have a mx518 (second one now, other one broke after 2-3 years of use i think, but probably cause i pulled on the cord too hard at times, although when they start disconnecting then working again you know your logitech mouse is on its way out!

Ha a mx510 before the mx518, probably best mouse i ever used..including the mx518 also

before that it was a ball mouse.

This whole better mouse thread is bs, imo. Who cares if your mouse output frequency 125 hz or 500 hz if the games does not sample your input so often. Mega hype by companies to buy their mice. The only difference is how comfortable is to your hand, how big it is to travel with and durability.

I got the razer pro click 1.6 which is basically a white diamondback that you can use fully with a mac. But now im on windows and it works fine there too, and it only cost me 14 euros from hong kong via ebay

I have a dell 2-button+wheel mouse and no mousepad... Sometimes it gets destroyed, and i have to chase the wheel and pieces on the floor! Other times it gets stuck on the various mayo/sauces/coffe/leftovers on my desk midair and i miserably fail!

I'm currently going with touchpad mouse As my Logitech MX518 is broken and malfunctions I tried my Wacom tablet and it's mouse. Man that's a pain in the ass to play with ^_^
When I lift the mouse too high it's not responsive and I'm a sitting duck. Happens a lot so that's not much fun. I wanna buy a new mouse but I cannot get the stick out of my ass to actually go and order one
I've learned that touchpad mice are not for gaming ^_^ Works great for browsing and stuff.
