I downloaded 1.2.2 but i hate it how the new version has those things floating around that circle you when you get them and they give you powers. Well i have been working on a small mod, and these are just annoying in the mod because everything that you can get when you pick them up is already on you in my mod. So its just added clutter on my screen when I'm near them AND when i accidentally pick them up cause it blocks part of my view when it orbits me.

Is there a way i can not have these?

You mean runematches? I think that those are kind of fun.

That totally depends on the server setup.. if you join a server that is playing rune match you will play rune match
